To a new bot

  1. 1Click New bot, name it and say what it’s for
  2. 2Click Connect apps beside its name and choose Harvest
  3. 3Add it to the bot, then sign in with your own Harvest account

  • Your own sign-in

Each person signs in to Harvest themselves. A bot uses the sign-in of whoever is talking to it, never a teammate’s.

  • Only the bots you choose

A bot can use Harvest only once it has been added to that bot.

  • Switch off any action

Turn off any Harvest action for your sign-in, or remove it from a bot, whenever you like.

Questions about Harvest and Emra

How do I use AI agents with Harvest?

Add Harvest to an Emra bot and sign in, then ask the bot in plain words, in its chat or in Slack. It is an AI agent that works in Harvest as you, and it can run on a schedule you set.

What AI agents work with Harvest?

Emra bots do. Each is an always-on AI agent that works like a member of your team, and it connects to Harvest alongside the other apps you use, so one bot can carry a task from one app to the next.

Do Emra bots have their own computer?

Yes. Every Emra bot has its own computer and web browser in the cloud. It works in Harvest through this integration, and it can use any website your team can for the work that happens elsewhere.

Can AI agents work in Harvest around the clock?

Yes. Emra bots are always on. Give one a schedule and it does the work in Harvest at the times you set, or ask it anything, at any hour.

How do I connect Harvest to Emra?

Open a bot’s settings, click + under Apps and choose Harvest. Add it to the bot, then sign in with your Harvest account. It takes about a minute.

Whose Harvest account does a bot use?

The account of whoever is talking to it. Each teammate signs in with their own, and a bot never uses one person’s sign-in for someone else.

Can I limit what a bot does in Harvest?

Yes. Any Harvest action can be switched off for your own sign-in, and Harvest can be removed from a bot at any time.

Is there anything to install?

No. Your bots reach Harvest from Emra’s cloud, so you only sign in.
