To a new bot

  2. 2Click Connect apps beside its name and choose PostHog
  3. 3Add it to the bot, then sign in with your own PostHog account

  • Switch off any action

Turn off any PostHog action for your sign-in, or remove it from a bot, whenever you like.

Questions about PostHog and Emra

How do I use AI agents with PostHog?

Add PostHog to an Emra bot and sign in, then ask the bot in plain words, in its chat or in Slack. It is an AI agent that works in PostHog as you, and it can run on a schedule you set.

What AI agents work with PostHog?

Emra bots do. Each is an always-on AI agent that works like a member of your team, and it connects to PostHog alongside the other apps you use, so one bot can carry a task from one app to the next.

Do Emra bots have their own computer?

Yes. Every Emra bot has its own computer and web browser in the cloud. It works in PostHog through this integration, and it can use any website your team can for the work that happens elsewhere.

Can AI agents work in PostHog around the clock?

Yes. Emra bots are always on. Give one a schedule and it does the work in PostHog at the times you set, or ask it anything, at any hour.

How do I connect PostHog to Emra?

Open a bot’s settings, click + under Apps and choose PostHog. Add it to the bot, then sign in with your PostHog account. It takes about a minute.

Whose PostHog account does a bot use?

The account of whoever is talking to it. Each teammate signs in with their own, and a bot never uses one person’s sign-in for someone else.

Can I limit what a bot does in PostHog?

Yes. Any PostHog action can be switched off for your own sign-in, and PostHog can be removed from a bot at any time.

Is there anything to install?

No. Your bots reach PostHog from Emra’s cloud, so you only sign in.
