- Add a reading time field to the article schema
Add Sanity to a bot
It takes about a minute, and each person signs in once.
To a bot you have
- 1Open the bot’s settings and click + under Apps
- 2Choose Sanity and add it to the bot
- 3Sign in with your own Sanity account
To a new bot
- 1Click New bot, name it and say what it’s for
- 2Click Connect apps beside its name and choose Sanity
- 3Add it to the bot, then sign in with your own Sanity account
Then ask. The bot works in Sanity as you, with your access.
Your own sign-in
Each person signs in to Sanity themselves. A bot uses the sign-in of whoever is talking to it, never a teammate’s.
Only the bots you choose
A bot can use Sanity only once it has been added to that bot.
Switch off any action
Turn off any Sanity action for your sign-in, or remove it from a bot, whenever you like.
Questions about Sanity and Emra
How do I use AI agents with Sanity?
Add Sanity to an Emra bot and sign in, then ask the bot in plain words, in its chat or in Slack. It is an AI agent that works in Sanity as you, and it can run on a schedule you set.
What AI agents work with Sanity?
Emra bots do. Each is an always-on AI agent that works like a member of your team, and it connects to Sanity alongside the other apps you use, so one bot can carry a task from one app to the next.
Do Emra bots have their own computer?
Yes. Every Emra bot has its own computer and web browser in the cloud. It works in Sanity through this integration, and it can use any website your team can for the work that happens elsewhere.
Can AI agents work in Sanity around the clock?
Yes. Emra bots are always on. Give one a schedule and it does the work in Sanity at the times you set, or ask it anything, at any hour.
How do I connect Sanity to Emra?
Open a bot’s settings, click + under Apps and choose Sanity. Add it to the bot, then sign in with your Sanity account. It takes about a minute.
Whose Sanity account does a bot use?
The account of whoever is talking to it. Each teammate signs in with their own, and a bot never uses one person’s sign-in for someone else.
Can I limit what a bot does in Sanity?
Yes. Any Sanity action can be switched off for your own sign-in, and Sanity can be removed from a bot at any time.
Is there anything to install?
No. Your bots reach Sanity from Emra’s cloud, so you only sign in.
