Add Zapier to a bot

It takes about a minute, and each person signs in once.

To a bot you have

  1. 1Open the bot’s settings and click + under Apps
  2. 2Choose Zapier and add it to the bot
  3. 3Sign in with your own Zapier account

To a new bot

  1. 1Click New bot, name it and say what it’s for
  2. 2Click Connect apps beside its name and choose Zapier
  3. 3Add it to the bot, then sign in with your own Zapier account

Then ask. The bot works in Zapier as you, with your access.

  • Your own sign-in

Each person signs in to Zapier themselves. A bot uses the sign-in of whoever is talking to it, never a teammate’s.

  • Only the bots you choose

A bot can use Zapier only once it has been added to that bot.

  • Switch off any action

Turn off any Zapier action for your sign-in, or remove it from a bot, whenever you like.

Questions about Zapier and Emra

Add Zapier to an Emra bot and sign in, then ask the bot in plain words, in its chat or in Slack. It is an AI agent that works in Zapier as you, and it can run on a schedule you set.

What AI agents work with Zapier?

Emra bots do. Each is an always-on AI agent that works like a member of your team, and it connects to Zapier alongside the other apps you use, so one bot can carry a task from one app to the next.

Do Emra bots have their own computer?

Yes. Every Emra bot has its own computer and web browser in the cloud. It works in Zapier through this integration, and it can use any website your team can for the work that happens elsewhere.

Can AI agents work in Zapier around the clock?

Yes. Emra bots are always on. Give one a schedule and it does the work in Zapier at the times you set, or ask it anything, at any hour.

How do I connect Zapier to Emra?

Open a bot’s settings, click + under Apps and choose Zapier. Add it to the bot, then sign in with your Zapier account. It takes about a minute.

Whose Zapier account does a bot use?

The account of whoever is talking to it. Each teammate signs in with their own, and a bot never uses one person’s sign-in for someone else.

Can I limit what a bot does in Zapier?

Yes. Any Zapier action can be switched off for your own sign-in, and Zapier can be removed from a bot at any time.

Is there anything to install?

No. Your bots reach Zapier from Emra’s cloud, so you only sign in.
