Add Outlook Mail to a bot

It takes about a minute, and each person signs in once.

To a bot you have

  1. 1Open the bot’s settings and click + under Apps
  2. 2Choose Outlook Mail and add it to the bot
  3. 3Sign in with your own Outlook Mail account

To a new bot

  1. 1Click New bot, name it and say what it’s for
  2. 2Click Connect apps beside its name and choose Outlook Mail
  3. 3Add it to the bot, then sign in with your own Outlook Mail account

Then ask. The bot works in Outlook Mail as you, with your access.

  • Your own sign-in

Each person signs in to Outlook Mail themselves. A bot uses the sign-in of whoever is talking to it, never a teammate’s.

  • Only the bots you choose

A bot can use Outlook Mail only once it has been added to that bot.

  • Switch off any action

Turn off any Outlook Mail action for your sign-in, or remove it from a bot, whenever you like.
