Add Fathom to a bot
It takes about a minute, and each person signs in once.
To a bot you have
- 1Open the bot’s settings and click + under Apps
- 2Choose Fathom and add it to the bot
- 3Sign in with your own Fathom account
To a new bot
- 1Click New bot, name it and say what it’s for
- 2Click Connect apps beside its name and choose Fathom
- 3Add it to the bot, then sign in with your own Fathom account
Then ask. The bot works in Fathom as you, with your access.
Your own sign-in
Each person signs in to Fathom themselves. A bot uses the sign-in of whoever is talking to it, never a teammate’s.
Only the bots you choose
A bot can use Fathom only once it has been added to that bot.
Switch off any action
Turn off any Fathom action for your sign-in, or remove it from a bot, whenever you like.
Questions about Fathom and Emra
How do I use AI agents with Fathom?
Add Fathom to an Emra bot and sign in, then ask the bot in plain words, in its chat or in Slack. It is an AI agent that works in Fathom as you, and it can run on a schedule you set.
What AI agents work with Fathom?
Emra bots do. Each is an always-on AI agent that works like a member of your team, and it connects to Fathom alongside the other apps you use, so one bot can carry a task from one app to the next.
Do Emra bots have their own computer?
Yes. Every Emra bot has its own computer and web browser in the cloud. It works in Fathom through this integration, and it can use any website your team can for the work that happens elsewhere.
Can AI agents work in Fathom around the clock?
Yes. Emra bots are always on. Give one a schedule and it does the work in Fathom at the times you set, or ask it anything, at any hour.
How do I connect Fathom to Emra?
Open a bot’s settings, click + under Apps and choose Fathom. Add it to the bot, then sign in with your Fathom account. It takes about a minute.
Whose Fathom account does a bot use?
The account of whoever is talking to it. Each teammate signs in with their own, and a bot never uses one person’s sign-in for someone else.
Can I limit what a bot does in Fathom?
Yes. Any Fathom action can be switched off for your own sign-in, and Fathom can be removed from a bot at any time.
Is there anything to install?
No. Your bots reach Fathom from Emra’s cloud, so you only sign in.
