- 03

- 04

Add Guru to a bot
It takes about a minute, and each person signs in once.
To a bot you have
- 1Open the bot’s settings and click + under Apps
- 2Choose Guru and add it to the bot
- 3Sign in with your own Guru account
To a new bot
- 1Click New bot, name it and say what it’s for
- 2Click Connect apps beside its name and choose Guru
- 3Add it to the bot, then sign in with your own Guru account

Your own sign-in
Each person signs in to Guru themselves. A bot uses the sign-in of whoever is talking to it, never a teammate’s.

A bot can use Guru only once it has been added to that bot.
Switch off any action
Turn off any Guru action for your sign-in, or remove it from a bot, whenever you like.
Questions about Guru and Emra

Add Guru to an Emra bot and sign in, then ask the bot in plain words, in its chat or in Slack. It is an AI agent that works in Guru as you, and it can run on a schedule you set.
What AI agents work with Guru?
Emra bots do. Each is an always-on AI agent that works like a member of your team, and it connects to Guru alongside the other apps you use, so one bot can carry a task from one app to the next.
Do Emra bots have their own computer?
Yes. Every Emra bot has its own computer and web browser in the cloud. It works in Guru through this integration, and it can use any website your team can for the work that happens elsewhere.
Can AI agents work in Guru around the clock?
Yes. Emra bots are always on. Give one a schedule and it does the work in Guru at the times you set, or ask it anything, at any hour.
How do I connect Guru to Emra?
Open a bot’s settings, click + under Apps and choose Guru. Add it to the bot, then sign in with your Guru account. It takes about a minute.

The account of whoever is talking to it. Each teammate signs in with their own, and a bot never uses one person’s sign-in for someone else.
Can I limit what a bot does in Guru?
Yes. Any Guru action can be switched off for your own sign-in, and Guru can be removed from a bot at any time.
Is there anything to install?
No. Your bots reach Guru from Emra’s cloud, so you only sign in.
