Add Read AI to a bot
It takes about a minute, and each person signs in once.
To a bot you have
- 1Open the bot’s settings and click + under Apps
- 2Choose Read AI and add it to the bot
- 3Sign in with your own Read AI account
To a new bot
- 1Click New bot, name it and say what it’s for
- 2Click Connect apps beside its name and choose Read AI
- 3Add it to the bot, then sign in with your own Read AI account
Then ask. The bot works in Read AI as you, with your access.
Your own sign-in
Each person signs in to Read AI themselves. A bot uses the sign-in of whoever is talking to it, never a teammate’s.
Only the bots you choose
A bot can use Read AI only once it has been added to that bot.
Switch off any action
Turn off any Read AI action for your sign-in, or remove it from a bot, whenever you like.
Questions about Read AI and Emra

Add Read AI to an Emra bot and sign in, then ask the bot in plain words, in its chat or in Slack. It is an AI agent that works in Read AI as you, and it can run on a schedule you set.
What AI agents work with Read AI?
Emra bots do. Each is an always-on AI agent that works like a member of your team, and it connects to Read AI alongside the other apps you use, so one bot can carry a task from one app to the next.
Do Emra bots have their own computer?
Yes. Every Emra bot has its own computer and web browser in the cloud. It works in Read AI through this integration, and it can use any website your team can for the work that happens elsewhere.
Can AI agents work in Read AI around the clock?
Yes. Emra bots are always on. Give one a schedule and it does the work in Read AI at the times you set, or ask it anything, at any hour.
How do I connect Read AI to Emra?
Open a bot’s settings, click + under Apps and choose Read AI. Add it to the bot, then sign in with your Read AI account. It takes about a minute.

The account of whoever is talking to it. Each teammate signs in with their own, and a bot never uses one person’s sign-in for someone else.
Can I limit what a bot does in Read AI?
Yes. Any Read AI action can be switched off for your own sign-in, and Read AI can be removed from a bot at any time.
Is there anything to install?
No. Your bots reach Read AI from Emra’s cloud, so you only sign in.
